We are hopeful that Spring will bring some nice sunny weather our way. With this change in season we begin to start thinking about all of things we need to accomplish by the end of this year and start planning for the next year. Here are some important things to keep in mind as we complete these last few months of school.

State testing for grades 3-5 is scheduled for May 2-19. If you have a student that will participate in the testing, please sure they are well rested and arrive to school on time so they can do their best work.

Spring conferences will be on April 21st and 22nd. Not every student will need a conference, your child’s teacher will be in contact with you to set this up if needed.

After spring break, Parent Input Forms will be available in the office. We value parent input on special needs, concerns, and learning styles when considering class placement for next year. However, requests for specific teachers will not be considered. It is our goal to create balanced classrooms based on student’s academic level, learning style, and special needs. If you have information that you would like to share with us, the Parent Input Forms will be available in the office beginning on April 18th.

I hope that you have a restful Spring Break with your family!
